I'd really love to get into making CWs (mainly hair/accessories/tattoos), so could anyone help? Would anyone be interested in these hairstyles/are these even good enough to submit? I'm not too familiar with CW items, so please let me know if there are items out there like this already. (Teal one was originally drawn on a larger base and had to be re-sized so it's a bit weird.) I'd also love to get more practice, so if you want something drawn (wouldn't be official, just for fun), let me know. :)

Congratulations on taking the step to create your cws. I really like the chibi style you do, I will say however that your cws do need some work in the lining itself, some parts are extremely thin to the points that they seem lacking. The shapes are quite unique which isn't necessarily bad, but I feel like you will have more success with more experience . Also these wigs are a little flat due to the lack of shading c: . Overall with more time and experience, I'm sure you will be able to develop your cw style a little bit better!

Thank you so much for the feedback! Should I be trying to line closer to this? (And how is the shading on this one?)

heya! Which drawing program do you use? From what I can see it, it's a good start! The main thing is that it looks overall a bit too dark / undefined.

The biggest shift between regular art & cws is that sometimes light source won't always be as 'accurate' as it would normally! For example, our right side should be darker since the light source is top left, but you should still be able to distinguish the strands here and there!

The lineart is a tad inconsistent at some placed (a bit moreso on the pink short bob) You also need stronger, darker inlines! They dont need to be black per se, but they do need to be darker (helps define the shape, too!)

It's particularly visible on the last pale short bob you just posted - it needs darker inlines and maybe a bit of highlights on the top left to balance it out.

I'm currently not at home and thus can't use my tablet but if you'd like, I can do a quick sketch of what I mean later tonight n_n

(& thank you for ping!)

Thanks so much for the advice! I've been imagining the light source completely wrong, haha. I'm still having a hard time understanding what kind of line-art I should be going for, though.
